Men's Club

B'nai Shalom's Men's Club combines fun social activities with community action initiatives to positively impact people in need throughout the region.
Its Toy Drive annually collects hundreds of toys and crafts that are donated to Chai Lifeline – lifting the spirits of kids with disabilities, in hospitals, and battling life-threatening diseases. The Men's Club runs an annual clothing drive that provides business attire for men and women experiencing financial challenges who need something nice to wear when they go on job interviews. The clothing is donated to organizations who help distribute the clothing.
The Club also donates to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, from the proceeds it receives from the Yellow Candle, Holocaust Remembrance Day program.
It sponsors a Men's Club Shabbat and participates in the World Wide Wrap sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs – its parent organization. World Wide Wrap participants are encouraged to wear tefillin and learn more about the customs associated with them. The Club co-sponsors with the Sisterhood the Shavuot luncheon.
